Comox Cottage Exterior Repairs

This older home had been “updated” with vinyl siding. We discovered nice cedar shingles underneath. This is after.
Poor and leaking repairs partially exposed. We were able to order matching shingles.
Same wall repaired before painting.
After siding restoration and paint.
Back wall exposed showing rot to sill plate and ends of floor joists. The floor above had sunk and tilted.
Rim joist repaired, old ship lap sheathing reinsted. I’ve preserved existing tar paper and will tuck a fresh piece under to restore building envelop
I used a floor jack in crawlspace to lift joists until floor was level. New mud sill out, and sistered the floor joists with fresh wood
We resized and replaced the kitchen window.
Here we are before paint. I was able to match the ribbed shingles locally
